After working with these easy going and smart clients and watching them navigate through their home search, walkthrough day was a fun celebration! The home they originally wanted went under contract, but instead of getting discouraged, they kept pressing in and quickly refocused. Before long, they found a home they love! Seeing my clients enjoy the home inspection process is always refreshing! When Craig with Creekview Home Inspections walks through the details of a home, there can certainly be a lot of information to take in. That’s why I love taking a few moments for some fun photos, a few laughs, and a chance to step back and gain some perspective. Even with new construction, there can be hidden items that need attention, and yesterday was no exception. Thankfully, the builder’s foreman and Craig were able to work together to identify the items and make a plan to get everything addressed in this beautiful new home before closing day. Teamwork truly is one of the best problem-solving tools, and it benefits both buyers and sellers.

Every home inspection is an opportunity to learn more about a home, understand its systems, and identify repairs or maintenance that may be needed in the future. This inspection revealed a great home with the typical repairs and maintenance expected for a home of its age. Having a thorough and honest inspection is an important part of making sure each client feels confident in their purchase. We had a smooth closing after a rather eventful final walkthrough! When the sellers are still moving out just hours before closing, things can get a little challenging. But when everyone works together with flexibility and a positive attitude, it all comes together. I was so grateful for clients who stayed calm, trusted the process, and handled every unexpected twist and turn with grace. By the time we reached the closing table, we were laughing about everything we'd navigated together and celebrating each hurdle we had overcome, one step at a time. There are few things more rewarding than seeing clients fall in love with a home that's just right for them. From the moment we walked through the front door, they knew this was the one. Every room revealed another feature they loved, and watching their excitement made this closing especially memorable. The best part is that our journey isn't over.
