TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Derby STP PC24(5)
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, flaggers will control alternating traffic patterns through a single-lane closure on U.S. Route 5 and Alt. U.S Route 5 through the village of Derby Line next week for driveway paving and shoulder backup operations.
Troy STP PC24(4)
One single-lane closure with alternating traffic patterns controlled by flaggers will be in place on Vermont Route 243 and Vermont Route 105 for final pavement. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, delays are anticipated through the work zone.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Derby STP PC24(5)
Crews will begin to pave driveway aprons and place shoulder gravel to back the new pavement up.
Troy STP PC24(4)
The contractor will begin paving the top or final wearing course of asphalt in Troy starting on Tuesday. The lane closure will lengthen over the course of the day and delays are anticipated.
LOCATION:
Derby STP PC24(5) is a Class 1 paving project that begins at the “State Highway Ends” sign on U.S. Route 5 at the intersection with Hammer Handle Road and continues north for approximately 0.80 miles to the Canadian Border. The project also continues east on Alt. U.S. Route 5 from the intersection with U.S. 5 approximately 0.6 miles to just past the Interstate 91 overpass.
Troy STP PC24(4) is a Class 1 paving project beginning at the “State Highway Ends” sign on Vermont Route 243 at the intersections with Dominion Avenue and Elm Street. It continues east just over a quarter mile to the intersection with Vermont Route 105. VT 105 is also included in the project from the “State Highway Ends” sign at the Highland Avenue intersection for a distance of approximately 0.6 miles east to the “State Highway Begins” sign just after the Pine Street intersection.
Work to be completed on these projects includes milling, pothole repair, resurfacing the existing highway with two applications of pavement, pavement markings, signs, and other related highway work.
PROJECT COMPLETION: Fall 2026
