Every weekend is baking/cooking time for me. Yesterday Kaia baked and because there’s a lot of egg yolks that Kaia didn’t use, I had to make which Jamian wasn’t a fan of. 🤣 This morning, Jai said when he woke up “I wish I can have biscuit for breakfast”. It’s his way of asking me to bake his favorite . Then I have been wanting to make for a while. Plus I have proofing since last night. Surprisingly, hubby tried everything even the lecheflan!

While being stuck at home after I have been cooking and eating well that I may have gained weight 😁 Kids said is their favorite! (marinated beef in soy sauce, lemon, garlic, onion, black pepper and 1/2tbsp brown sugar. Pan fry until brown then pour the marinade and simmer until tender) Perfect with plain white rice!

Gawa daw sya ng ice cream sa labas 🤣🍦He saw a saw video on how to make ice cream in the snow 🤣 A lot of whisking and it was really cold outside so he got tired. In the end, I finished whisking using electric mixer and put in the freezer. He ate it the next morning 🤣

I took the day off on my birthday so I can relax and not worry about anything. But relaxing for me means baking or cooking 😁 while listening to prayers on Youtube 🙏🏼Thank God for the gift of life. 💕🎂

It took me 2 weeks to get my sourdough starter fully active. Patience is the key 😁🍞
60g bread flour + 60g water; reduce to half then feed 60g bread flour + 60g water for the first week then do the 1:1:1 ratio until it becomes fully active.

Because of my sourdough starter, I have been baking breads and pizza! But this is my first time making pizza carbonara, yum!
Ingredients
50 g Guanciale, 2oz
5 tbsp Pecorino Romano cheese
3 eggs
fresh mozzarella
Black Pepper,l
Extra virgin olive oil

Sa lamig dito parang 3 days yata ang proofing ng dough 🤣 with home made pizza sauce, dough from scratch, shredded mozzarella,freshly grated parmesan, olive oil, basil, fresh mozzarella and topped with burrata after baking. 🍕💕

After being sick for 4 days, I was able to prep pizza dough and charcoal baguette and was able to make Pistachio Cheesecake. Kaia made the deviled eggs and helped me out in the kitchen. Thank you Lord for the year 2025, full of challenges but You never left us. We can’t wait what 2026 brings, to God be the glory. Happy New Year everyone!! 🙏🏼🎉💕
