Shabbot Shalom. You know, for a 70 year old guy like me, crying tears of joy, because I am still alive, daily, is a little embarrassing.
In the world that I grew up in (East Oakland, Martin Luther King Jr. High) a deal is a deal. You do not break the deal, because all you have is your reputation. The first time you break the deal, they break your legs. The second time, they kill you. Relax, I am NOT a mobster. I did not make the deal. But the middle brother did. So they wanted me. I am your neighbor. I am not dangerous. But I know a world, some people, who are. At all costs, I did not make the deal. Until you have been there, and you do not want to go there, you cannot understand the perspective. But for those who do: kudos! You survived another day in paradise.
