A few weeks ago, in the midst of moving locations of both home and studio (from Newport back to Johnson Vermont) Miss New Mexico commissioned my services for this year’s “Miss America’s Got Talent” show. It was a sizeable project.

Using Meme’s shed as a makeshift studio, and with the help of the phenomenal former Miss Vermont Yamuna Turco, I was able to recreate Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time”, from scratch, just in time for this year’s nationals (plus a little extra shimmer/weight .. and real trumpets.).

All the instruments and vocals that you hear on the national stage were recorded and produced at River Road Studios, now located back on River road.

Happy holidays from River Road! We rocked the dance floor for two corporate Christmas parties this week: Butterworks Farm at Jay Peak Ski Resort, VT and Local Electric at the Charlmont Restaurant.

The manager at Jay Peak stole almost my entire box of business cards to leave around the beautiful resort for future potential customers 👏
