Residents who were unable to attend the in-person visioning workshops for Newton’s new comprehensive plan can now participate via online survey:

These surveys provide valuable input on Newton’s needs, wants, and challenges now and in the years ahead. The feedback will be used to draft a community vision and set specific goals and objectives in the comprehensive plan.

The survey is open to anyone who cares about the future of Newton: residents, business owners, family, and neighbors.

The next Newton Next event is the Planning & Design Charrette on Feb. 3-4, a collaborative workshop where stakeholders will gather to brainstorm and begin designing a shared vision that incorporates public input.

🎄 Our annual First Responder Holiday Helpers drive is happening now! Emergency response agencies in Harvey County have joined together with the goal of assisting 400 local families this holiday season.

🥫 This tradition is only successful because of our generous community. Your financial contributions make it possible. With $86, we can provide two weeks of food for a family.

📌 If you'd like to help us reach our goal, you can bring a financial donation by the Sheriff's Office or Newton Police Department. You can also mail it. Checks can be made payable to First Responder Holiday Helpers.
