Here are 9 ways you can help Rivers Edge. Doing any one of the items below will help. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. --Aesop

1 ) Make a donation, even a few dollars will help. A bale of hay costs between $6 and $7 and will last about 1 1/2 days for most horses but our big guy Tank eats almost 2 bales per day. :)

2 ) Please visit our page as much as possible and interact by sharing, liking, clicking on photos and commenting. This will allow others to see more of our posts. This so very, very important to our survival and our visibility on Facebook! Even a heart or a smiley face for a comment will help! If a post doesn't receive activity from you, FB will limit the exposure the post gets. Please CLICK-CLICK-CLICK on our posters and photos too!

3 ) Help educate people and make them aware of the reasons we need horse rescues. Encourage others to get involved with a rescue! It is so very expensive to run a horse rescue so help is always needed especially for fundraising.

4 ) Participate in our activities. Some are for the locals but we also have online projects from time to time.

Part 3 of missing horses
they were loose and contained on our property it's a huge area with many fields unfortunately we don't untalize them all any longer due to lack of help.

Everyone is safe and accounted for when in a herd they don't normally separate from one another poor Black Beauty had to be sleeping when they went on there adventure.

Remembering Baby Girl

With a heavy heart, I share that our beloved horse, Baby Girl, has crossed the rainbow bridge. She has been with us for many years, and her presence has touched the hearts of so many, especially mine. It was a difficult decision, but it was time to let her go as she was no longer thriving.

I will miss my beautiful Lil girl she had such presence and such a strong and tough attitude my precious friend I will miss you everyday till we are together again!

Run free my friend with your beautiful sister Grey Ghost, her brother Dude and her other sister Bea Girl they shared the same pasture and life experiences for many years they are now all together again running fast and free !

Though I hate having to make such decisions, it's part of my responsibility to ensure the well-being of our animals. She will be deeply missed by all of us.

Thank you all for your unwavering support and kindness. We are forever grateful to have such a wonderful community.
