Alumni DJ Mad Hatter Macy closed out with a 13 hour marathon broadcast bringing our final number to 49 nonstop hours of vinyl music! Here he is posing with his score after signing off and closing down Vinylthon here at Radio BUX. All said and done, The Mad Hatter was on air for 23 hours over the weekend, and was joined by some of the other amazing students and alumni that make up Radio BUX! Big thank you to , .t.o, , and guest DJ from Melbourne, AUS and Radio PVS, for holding down their respective shifts and sharing their passion for music with the world this weekend. Another big thank you to all the listeners who stayed tuned in all weekend and interacted with us throughout the whole event, ya’ll are the reason we don’t even bat an eye at doing these long broadcasts because we know that you’re there and listening! We’re already looking forward to Vinylthon 2025!

One day we’ll stop recycling this flyer each year for … But it is not this day! This day… we broadcast vinyl for 48 straight hours all weekend long for our 7th year participating in Vinylthon, alongside over 200 other college and community radio stations across the country! Be sure to tune in starting this Friday night (aka Saturday morning) at midnight all the way to the end of Sunday night (aka Monday morning) at midnight! All vinyl, nonstop, 48 hours. It’s always a fun time!

My name is Rhiannon (.t.o) and more recently I have become the new studio manager by the wonderful Nick Macy (), he has been the longtime studio manager and a great mentor for everyone!

I have am a sophomore here at
and My Plans are to make this Studio, the best I know it can be!

It’s finally here!! 2023 is THIS weekend! Radio BUX will, for the third year running, go 48 hour full hours, start Friday night/Saturday morning at 12 AM and will continue right on until the clock strikes 12 AM on Monday morning (AKA Sunday night). Radio BUX is moving to a new location! Big Changes at Radio BUX, now located right in the middle of the Rollins Center!
Some of our shows will be on hold for the next week or so while we get setup in our new space!
Macy’s House of Wax and Sports Talk Mega Show will continue to air during their normal time slots and will be unaffected.

The world's ONLY lap steel metal band, Wisconsin's very own "Velocihamster" is back with his third studio album, "Uncaged", a collection of brilliant, unique covers, satisfying a music trope that Velocihamster's frontman, Sean Williamson often resented, but came to embrace.
