Most people I work with aren't failing because they don't know enough.
They're failing because they're spending their best hours on work that was never going to move the needle.
Not out of laziness. Out of habit. Because reactive work feels responsible. Because answering feels productive. Because the urgent always crowds out the important.
And the work that would actually change the shape of the business keeps getting quietly pushed to next week.
Next week never comes.
