There’s nothing better than a New England summer on Cape Cod. 🐚🦪🦞🩵

I recently stayed in the most amazing vacation rental in Chatham through Del Mar Vacations. It was my third time staying with them and I’ve had such a great experience. They have properties all across Cape Cod so you can find the perfect fit based on your needs and budget. This property had a heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, and slept 12 people so it’s perfect for a big group.

You can use my code CONNECTICUTLIFE005 for 5% off your stay with Del Mar and the link to this house is in my bio!

There’s still time to book your Cape Cod vacation this summer! 🩵🦞🐚🦪🌾

I am heading to Chatham for my annual Cape Cod trip soon and it’s something I look forward to every year. Waking up and getting coffee, having an afternoon cocktail on the lawn at , sunsets at Gray’s Beach, going to  for lobster rolls, ice cream at , lounging at Mayflower Beach, taking a drive to P-Town for the day and so much more!!

This will be my third time staying at a  property and I love how they have so many options all across Cape Cod. You can browse options and filter them by your budget and what type of rental you’re looking for (pet friendly, waterfront, houses with pools, etc.) The check-in and on-site service when you arrive is also top notch, as the team at Del Mar checks in throughout your stay to make sure everything is going smoothly.

You can use my code CONNECTICUTLIFE005 for 5% off your stay (booking link in my bio as well!)

Send this to the person you want to bring to Cape Cod and feel free to DM me if you want links to any of the specific homes I’ve stayed at. 🩵🌊

If you’re looking for a unique dining experience in Connecticut, you have to check out the Sunday Supper Series at Engine Room in Mystic 🍽️🍺

The series brings together local chefs and brewers for an educational and collaborative family-style dinner, centered around seasonal ingredients and community. I recently went to their dinner with Fox Farm Brewery () and it was such a fun experience from start to finish.

The multi-course menu featured seasonal ingredients paired with Fox Farm beers. Everything was delicious, but my favorite dish of the night was the cornmeal crusted fluke with green onion soubise and hot honey.

Their next Sunday Supper is happening on May 31st in partnership with Nana’s and Port of Call, and reservations are limited, so definitely grab your spot soon. ✨

Reservatons can be made on !

Spring Hill Vineyards in New Preston, Connecticut is officially open for the season 🍷✨

Last summer I visited for the first time with and we had the best time!

Set along the Shepaug River in the rolling hills of New Preston, Spring Hill Vineyards is such a perfect blend of wine, art, and nature.

The vineyard sits on a historic farm dating back to the 1700s and features award-winning wines, frozen cocktails, food trucks, live music, and incredible sculpture installations woven throughout the property.

It’s the perfect place to spend a nice day and a definitely a spot to add to your spring or summer list! ☀️🌾🍷

Tucked away on Park Street in New Canaan, the is one of Connecticut’s newest cultural spaces dedicated to celebrating American architecture, and it’s absolutely worth a visit.

The foundation is set inside a beautifully preserved 1836 Greek Revival home that is such a nice blend of historic architecture with contemporary, light-filled exhibition spaces. They also have a beautiful sculpture garden which is one of my favorite parts of the space.

Their inaugural exhibitions include a look at preserving Eero Saarinen’s Cold War–era U.S. Embassy in Oslo as well as an exhibition exploring Marcel Breuer’s Hague embassy and John Johansen’s Dublin embassy, and how their New Canaan domestic experiments shaped their embassies around the world. These current exhibitions are on display through June 13th, so you still have time to visit!

With New Canaan’s rich modernist architecture history, this is such a fitting addition to town. Admission is also completely free. All you have to do is reserve a time on their website in advance.

Save this post for your next New Canaan day trip!
