These days, beer isn't just about beer anymore, so along those lines...

TUPPS Brewery of McKinney recently rolled out some daily lunch combos starting at just $12. One of them is the Half Smoked Turkey Club Combo with fries or salad and a soda (boozy bevs are an adder), and I'm all about a good club sandwich. Plenty to eat here, too, considering a half sando is bigger than the size of my fist. I passed on the soda in favor of the brewery's new Dry Cider (and it’s actually dry), which all together made for a filling and refreshing lunch break. 🍺🥪🍎

From the national newswire. One of the largest breweries in Minnesota, Summit’s beers were once available locally, though it's been roughly a decade since they stopped shipping to Texas.

BMO Bank alleges Summit Brewery, one of Minnesota's largest brewers, owes them more than $8 million in unpaid debt.

Another brewery dealing with construction, or destruction as the case may be, is Westlake Brewing Company along Commerce St. in Deep Ellum. There is some street parking out front amongst the chaos, which cost only 35 cents over the weekend, but there's also a small, inexpensive pay lot out back that nobody ever seems to use.
