This week on Cowgirl Bites, we took on one of Taiwan’s most infamous delicacies: stinky tofu.
Let’s just say... it lived up to its name. 😅 Out of our entire crew, only ONE person managed to finish it.
But here’s the thing: stinky tofu isn’t famous because people enjoy being tortured. It’s a beloved staple of Taiwanese cuisine, and many customers come to Pot on Fire in Eastvale specifically for this dish. The flavor itself is actually much milder than the aroma suggests. In a way, it’s similar to strong cheeses that outsiders often find overwhelming at first.
For many Western palates, the smell is the biggest hurdle. We’re simply not used to it, which is why we tend to make such a big „stink“ about it. 🤠
Would you try stinky tofu, or are you tapping out before the first bite?

It was so much fun shooting and editing this video for American Range Walls!

We’re BACK baby!

After a few months of silence, Cowgirl Bites is riding again — and we’re coming in hot!

Watch our cowgirl Ivette Saucedo absolutely crush the legendary zip lines at Skull Canyon in Corona.

The views, the speed, the adrenaline… this immersive footage is next level!

Who else is ready to get after it this summer? Drop a comment if you’d ride these lines!

Pastura California just started a new format in collaboration with alternative German news channel NuoViso. It’s called “Lucas fragt nach”. The idea behind it is to do interviews on the streets with people in the US about topics that are also of concern to Germans. In this first episode we talk about immigration and whether it’s a good idea or not to deport illegal immigrants. We talk to everyone, no matter what their personal beliefs are, our goal is to provide an accurate picture of how the population feels about current topics. This particular topic is very interesting to Germans because chancellor Merz just announced to want to deport around 900,000 Syrian immigrants.

Lucas war für uns in Riverside County unterwegs und holte für uns die Meinung vor Ort. Was denken die Menschen im Westen der USA über T
