Damon Landor, a Rastafarian suing prison officials who cut off his dreadlocks while serving a five-month sentence in 2020 for drug possession, had his case in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday.

Landor continuously carried a copy of an appeals court ruling in another inmate’s case holding that cutting religious prisoners’ dreadlocks violated the federal law, according to the Associated Press,

But on Monday, the Supreme Court appeared to lean against Landor during oral arguments for the case that lasted nearly two hours.

Another person has been indicted by the feds in connection with the "parking lot scam," where hundreds of Navy Federal customers have been targeted.

The scammers approach Navy Federal customers in the parking lot — often military-aged males — and either deceive or intimidate them into getting the victims' cell phones.

Then, they access their accounts and transfer money or take out loans in their name. The victims then need to pay back those loans, sometimes at an interest rate of 18%.

More than 10 people have been indicted so far — this time, the latest suspect is named Corey Smith.
