Pusha T Salutes Mobb Deep's New Album Topping Apple Music's Rap Chart

In a heartfelt nod to hip-hop's enduring icons, Pusha T saluted Mobb Deep's triumphant return with Infinite, their posthumous ninth studio album that stormed to No. 1 on Apple Music's Rap Albums chart just days after its October 10, 2025, drop. The Virginia spitter, fresh off Clipse's own 2025 powerhouse Let God Sort Em Out, took to Instagram on October 12 to celebrate the Queensbridge duo's legacy: "Mobb Deep Infinite—timeless grit meets modern fire. Prodigy's voice still shakes the streets. Salute to Havoc and The Alchemist for keeping it infinite. Queens forever." Fans echoed the praise, with streams surging as singles like "Down For You" ft. Nas and Jorja Smith, and "Look At Me" ft. Clipse (Pusha T & Malice), dominate iTunes Rap charts.
Infinite, helmed by Havoc and The Alchemist, resurrects Prodigy's unreleased vocals from the '90s onward, blending raw Queensbridge tales with elite guests: H.E.R., Raekwon, Kool G Rap. Tracks like "Taj Mahal" and "Gunfire" recapture the haunting boom-bap of The Infamous and Hell on Earth, but with evolved production—cinematic layers evoking lo-fi revival. Released via Mass Appeal as part of the Legend Has It... series, it honors Prodigy's 2017 passing while bridging eras, proving authenticity trumps trends in 2025's stream wars.
Pusha T's co-sign, tied to his Clipse collab, underscores rap's generational torch-passing. As Infinite eyes Billboard debuts, Mobb Deep reminds: True legends never fade—they evolve.
