Let me paint the picture - So It was the near end Covid lockdown it’s the Holiday Season and we couldn’t hold gatherings or real events. But still needed resources and funding. As a board member I knew I had to try to help out.

So I figured let’s throw a virtual concert that can highlight some dope artists singing Holiday Songs all throughout Norfolk.

Not only was it a vibe every spectator got a front row seat because we aired that thang on YouTube.

The talented held us down on the visuals and had us vibing like we were front row 🎶✨

To all the artists that contributed & collaborated with us to make “Christmas In the City” possible THANK YOU 🙏🏽

We loved rocking out with y’all and raising money for our court involved at risk youth while also highlighting how music brings us all together.

Bringing back the moments that shaped us.. the was a true labor of LOVE focused on the Community of Producers & Beat Makers and how Hip Hop and certain records shaped their personal sound. With more than 2200 people in attendance from all over the East Coast to connect with us at the the Slover Library - what an honor to be apart of such a beautiful day for Hip Hop.

It couldnt have happened without Daun Hester, , , , and the countless Sponsors and of course the Super Producers and Beat Makers that flew into town just for this day. What a classic moment for VA.. .

I am the Founder & Chief Audio Engineer / Producer of Music Theory Studios - and DJ Instructor at MTS Turntable Institute located in Norfolk, Virginia. I help talented music artists, musicians, and producers create music of all kinds. I've had the pleasure of working with some Grammy Award Winning Artists & Multi-Platinum Producers, & I want to share my expertise with other hungry musicians who may not have the knowledge or the money to record in a professional studio. Our Chief Executive Officer, Jazzarae has a true skill for creating courses with intense curriculums that are packed with a wealth of real world information. Her obsession with research and connecting with superior talent, takes all our courses to the next level because she focuses on the teaching component

Under the MTS umbrella is our Music Production Institute, where we teach music classes in: Audio Engineering, Beat Making, DJing, and online Vocal Classes. We teach hungry music artists, musicians, business owners, educators, tech developers, fashion designers and entrepreneurs the necessary steps for building a clear action plan for their, desired goal. Thru a blended learning curriculum I help curate and facilitate amazing in-person & online courses to assist talented individuals in making their dream a reality.
