HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! To all of our fans and followers, 2025 was a quiet year for Inergy Records. Many changes and events led us to take a break but we never forgot the artists and fans that have made our imprint a Beatport Hype recognized label. Thank you all for the continued support! We have been successful with worldwide streams of all of our releases this past year and 2026 will bring a revival to our small label. With that being said, Inergy Records is proud to have our first release for 2026. Stay tuned for more releases and new artists to be signed for this year!

With successful releases and remixes on our label, Washington DC based DJ and producer Paul Atreides lends his techno wizardry by reworking his original remix of Eikkon's 2021's deep, thought provoking, epic progger, "Ciconte". Released over two volumes, Paul contributed his remix to volume 2 and his track became a very successful release both in physical and streaming formats.

With his 2026 VIP remix, Paul beefs up production, polishes the tone, adds some wicked dark, driving energy, and breathes new life in an already epic track.

PAUL ATREIDES

Paul Atreides (Beatport) is an American techno producer and DJ prized for driving ethereal grooves that blend hypnotic synth motifs with raw percussion. Cutting his teeth in the DC warehouse circuit in 2015, he quickly expanded across the United States before landing coveted slots in Ibiza and Tulum. Early bootlegs and mash-ups released under playful aliases earned cult support and set the stage for his original work.

His breakthrough arrived in 2023 when ‘Sonar Galaxy (Hard Mix)‘ rocketed to #1 on Beatport’s Raw Techno chart, followed by three more Top-10 entries. Releases on Eclipse Recordings, Naked Lunch, Black Kat, and the storied Bonzai Progressive have cemented his studio credentials.

Championing Paul’s sound are Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Indira Paganotto, Anna Reusch, and other scene heavyweights who regularly spin his tracks on festival main stages. Looking ahead, he’s preparing to push techno’s limits even further.

2. Unfinished demos will not even be listened to. Please do not submit a 'work in progress' track.
3. Unmastered tracks are fine. We will master the track for you if considered for the label.

On remix duty is the phenomenal Washington DC based duo TonalTheory and we are are ecstatic to have them lend their studio prowess to Inergy's latest project. Inergy Records's last release, Paul Atreides' hard driving EP 'Phantoms' (https://www.beatport.com/release/phantoms-ep/3439451) really let loose the power of get-you-moving-on-the-dance-floor dark techno and TonalTheory brought us a fantastic remix. For the 'Brimstone EP' JarboTek asked us if we could have them on the release and we didn't hesitate. With a stellar output and amazing detailed production skills, TonalTheory is a techno duo that you don't want to miss. TonalTheory [Marissa and Rae] has been signified by bending boundaries between hard-hitting techno elements, mesmerizing synths and atmospheric melodies. They strive to merge the worlds as they incorporate their classical background into their newer productions as they continue to develop their sounds and conquer the unexpected rollercoaster of emotions as it captures the story of “Where we were, where we are, and where we want to be.”

They have played support for some of the biggest names in the industry of both techno and trance alike including Dubfire, Alan Fitzpatrick, Nicole Moudaber, Green Velvet, Laidback Luke, Sharam, Victor Calderone, John Askew, Greg Downey, David Rust & Fehrplay. The duo also are label owners of Undertone on the east coast which focuses on techno and bending genre lines. They are Synthesis residents and host monthly parties for up and coming talent of underground music as Decibel Collective.

JarboTek

On August 30th, Inergy Records will release its next imprint, 'Brimstone EP’, as a two week promotion on Beatport. We are super excited to pass the techno baton on to an up and coming, talented producer, Kevin Jarboe, aka JarboTek.

Kevin was born and raised in Washington D.C. and was inspired by all things music at an early age. He expressed interest in the saxophone and eventually found his path with other instruments. It wasn’t until his later years that he began to explore different types of musical genres. The dark, crunchy, raw sound of post-punk inspired him to continue his interest in other instruments like guitar and bass. With the confidence in such a no-holds-barred genre of music he assumed vocal duties performing in several hardcore groups.

Over the years EDM became king and it was only natural that JarboTek find his second home in the dark, synth heavy rumbliness of techno music. DJing was another outlet that gave him the chance to play the songs he loved. The hard driving edge that metal music provided for him for years eventually became the springboard for JarboTek’s production style. This gave him the ability to release tracks officially on national and worldwide mp3 platforms.

In 2019 JarboTek’s production efforts saw the light of day with his release, ‘Twisting Waveforms’ on Funktrap records. With remix assistance by future Inergy artist, Paul Atreides and Baltimore, MD based Micfreak, ‘Twisting Waveforms’ (https://www.beatport.com/release/twisting-waveforms/2475188) put JarboTek on the map leaving his mark as a worthy techno producer. The Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. techno community was supportive of his efforts and word began to spread about his abilities to create intense original music from the ground up. It wasn’t long before Inergy Records caught wind of this and was sent links to his prolific body of unreleased work. We got in touch with JarboTek and offered an opportunity to contribute a remix to Paul Atreides’ phenomenal 2021 Inergy release, ‘Phantoms EP’ (https://www.beatport.com/release/phantoms-ep/3439451). We were very impressed with his efforts and asked him this year to submit an original track for consideration for our label.

We are proud to release Jarbo Tek’s newest track, “Brimstone EP” complete with a hard driving, peak-hour style groove, so get ready for a wild ride! Rounding out this three track release is Washington D.C. based techno producer group, TonalTheory and Inergy founder Plateau contributing a more hard-trance style remix.
