ANNOUNCEMENT!

Recently, we were advised by State Military Reservation that the security measures currently in place were unlikely to be lifted by September and that we should identify another location to host the event.

We are excited to announce that our friends at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach (not too far from our current location) have agreed to partner with us to host this year's 757 Battle of the Beers. Their venue will provide ample space and enable us to produce the same caliber event that everyone has enjoyed over the years.

We took a road trip to Colonial Williamsburg yesterday in anticipation of our upcoming June/July issue of Virginia Craft Beer Magazine! It was fun to immerse ourselves in colonial life as we enjoyed lunch and a pint of Old Stitch at King's Arms Tavern and imagined what it would have been like to be sitting alongside our Founding Fathers as they gathered at the taverns to discuss the issues of the day and plot a course for liberty.

Learn more about the roll beer played in the shaping of our nation and how taverns were essential to the birth of democracy in America , plus find out how breweries across the Commonwealth will be collaborating on Virginia 250 themed beers. We'll have this and more as we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our nation in this star-spangled issue hitting the streets the first week of June.

A perfect tie-in with VA250 - American Revolution 250 Commission celebrations -- yes -- but over a decade ago we created our tagline "A revolution is brewing" to note the craft beer revolution of 2012 in Virginia as well as a nod to our history -- a traditional George Washington pose applied with a pop culture illustration twist, trading his lips for Mona Lisa's, and a fine glass of porter with our logo on it.

GA Tickets are $75 until July 1st, then go to $85.

VIP Tickets are extremely limited and start at $100. Prices will go up in waves until gone.
