Check out this publishing opportunity for two-year college students!

UC Clermont College's student-run journal of art and writing, East Fork, is open for submissions from students at two-year colleges nationwide. Students are encouraged to send their poems, stories, creative nonfic, visual art, musical compositions, and other multimedia artworks. You can check out past issues at www.eastfork.us

The deadline for the Fall issue is October 7th. Any work submitted after the deadline will be considered for publication in the Spring.

There have been some issues involved in getting the magazine printed and the launch party is going to be postponed...we will update as soon as a definite day and time are established. (Our printer is in New Jersey--poor New Jersey.)

MUSE Autumn Arts Festival is scheduled for November 13th, from 1 p.m to 7 p.m. Open mic will be from 4 p.m to 6 p.m, and the release party will follow starting at 6 p.m. There will be readings and art displays by both students and locals alike. We'll keep you posted on what's to come!!

MUSE will be releasing its next issue November 13th!! To celebrate, MUSE will be hosting a Celebration of the Arts Festival on campus. Come to tonight's meeting at 5 pm in the CCB 2100 to pitch ideas, or to join the MUSE team!!
