Wow! I just watched the movie “Reagan!” It has become my new favorite movie! If you haven't seen it, you have to watch it! You will fall in love with “Dutch” all over again. And for you folks not into politics, it’s a love story! It's a love story about his love of America and his wife, Nancy!

Ronald Reagan was the first President I voted for! It was 1984, the fall after graduation. I recall how angry my mother was that I registered as a Republican and declared my love for President Reagan and my plans to vote for him in the upcoming election. When I told my mom, you’d have thought I stabbed her in the back with a steak knife! She asked, “How the Hell can you vote for an actor to be the President?” She wondered,” What the Hell have I (she) done wrong that made you turn out like this?, “Did I abuse you in some horrible way or drop you on your head too hard?” Oh, and let's not forget… “Did you know that's the party that elected that crook Tricky Dicky?” Needless to say, she was very upset about all of it.

My mother was the woman who voted for Bill Clinton, bi***ed the entire time he was in office about his Veteran policies, the p**s poor way he ran the VA Hospital, high inflation, and his lack of morals for taking advantage of Monica Lewinski et al.! However, in true lockstep with the Democrat Party, she voted for that scoundrel a second time! She denied voting for him because she thought he was cute, but I really believe that was the only reason she flipped the lever for that predator again! Crazy!

From 1984-2000, I was unrelenting! I pointed out everything wrong with “her party” and how her party had screwed America Up and screwed over the American people! I was a brat about it, really. You know that kid at that kid in the checkout line at Walmart begging, demanding, and bargaining for that special thing that they will die if you don't buy it for them? Well, that was me… totally annoying! But, in the end… my evil plan worked, bawhahaha! My mom had finally had enough of the Democrat Party, and I know she was sick of me! I had finally done it! She went down to the election board and switched parties in 2000! Mom never admitted to voting for Clinton because she thought he was handsome. However, she did admit the Democrat Party was no longer her mother's Democrat Party, and they had left her behind. It was a proud day for our family!

Anyway, you have to see this movie! It's a beautiful story about a beautiful man and his love for his wife and his Country!

Big Red Wave! Of course everywhere but Norman, OK! If Republicans in Norman want to be represented they need to get to the polls. Two excellent candidates, Matt Watson and Alexander W Torvi, lost last night. They would have done an excellent job! So glad I have moved out of Norman!

Believe it or not, conservatives far outnumbered liberals! We just haven’t been voting! If you want change in Norman you must get to the polls! FYI there is also a water rate increase on the ballot! I am a no on this one at this time. We will have to do some work on our watershed soon, but this question isn’t written well and the rates are suspect. They need to go back to work!

Please read before you VOTE today! Tell the City of Norman to get back to work and come up with a better plan!

Norman citizens,
Please remember to go vote "NO" on the Norman water rate increase.
Voters will be asked to increase the base fee from $6 to $10.90. The rate increase per thousand gallons would rise from $3.35 to $3.46 for up to 5,000; from $4.10 to $4.50 for up to 15,000 gallons, and from $5.20 to $6.75 for up to 20,000 gallons.
The City is using scare tactics to get citizens to vote in favor of giving our hard earned money to the tax and spend irresponsible city government.
They have not shown themselves to be good stewards. So, until a change in our city council occurs, we should oppose any request of theirs to take more of our money.
Vote "NO" on June 13.

I appreciate all of the well wishes and support. We have numbers back, and apparently, 71% of democrats got out to vote, and only 51% of Republicans got out to vote. If you don’t believe your vote matters, it does! Especially in the local elections. I out knocked the other candidate and outworked her. Unfortunately, Republicans are so disenfranchised in Norman that they have stopped voting. Nothing will change until we change. We have to stop going after each other, stop fighting each other, and above all, we have to vote. If you don’t want change, DON’T VOTE! If you want change, VOTE!
Until we start voting, nothing will change.

What a ride! I have met some of the most wonderful people on this planet and about 20 of the biggest A-holes! I can’t thank everyone enough for your votes and kind words at the door. Unfortunately, Republicans just didn’t get out and vote this time.

Terry and I knocked on almost 5000 Republican, Democrat and Independent doors by ourselves. Not that we didn’t have people offer to help do it for me. I just believed it was important for me to talk to as many voters as I possibly could. I felt and still believe every voter wants to hear from the actual candidate. I also think every candidate must listen to the concerns of as many residents living in their district as they possibly can.

If I didn’t knock on your door, it wasn’t for lack of trying. There just wasn’t enough time for me to get to every one of you. I even put my personal phone number on every door knocker ”thingy” I left at your door because I know what it feels like not to get a return call. Just because I didn’t win this time doesn’t mean I am not available to help you anytime you need it. If I can ever do anything for anyone here in Norman, I will.

I know I was not a smooth talker, but everything I said I meant, and everything I said was from the heart. I didn’t run for this office because I needed this job. I ran because I genuinely wanted to effect change. I want to protect the youngest, oldest, and anyone else who can’t protect themselves. I am sick and tired of watching people get elected and do nothing to help anyone. Think about it! A Democrat who gets elected in Oklahoma has the easiest job in the world. All they have to do is show up and draw a paycheck. They aren’t expected to write any legislation because all they have to do is tell people the Republicans won’t allow them to pass a bill. They might get something out of committee if they were writing bills to help regular folks. They must also make a few “Woke” far-left statements to ensure their base will continue to vote for them. No one holds them accountable to do a damn thing. For the last 12 years, District 45 has been held by democrats who have failed to return calls and write any legislation. If you elect a Republican, you want proof that they are working for the people of this state. You demand results, and if they don’t, you fire them. We should hold every single politician to the same standard.

Just a little FYI and behind-the-scenes info:

In an effort to silence me about “Elder Abuse,” the OSMA ran a dark money campaign for my opponent. That’s alright! You Won’t Shut Me Up and I Will Keep Fighting Like Hell to Protect the Elderly! So get your checkbook ready because I will be back in two years!

To all of my friends in Ward 5 and No More Turnpikes! I love you all! I am still in this fight with you and will continue to be at every event to help in any way I can. The Fat Lady hasn’t even begun to warm up her voice! The OTA has never had to fight folks like us! We will win this! I am, and will always be, a “Stakeholder Ride or Die!”

Again, congratulations to Annie for a well-run race and a clean campaign. I have the utmost respect for you for putting yourself out there. However, I will see you again on the campaign trail.

Love to each one of you! You are the reason I love Norman. Well, all of you but the 20 A-holes, that is. 🤣
