How did we get started and where are we going?
I remember helping my youngest sister design shirts for holidays, vacations, and reunions, etc. We loved it so much that we decided to create a family company. However, life began to happen, and I relocated to Oklahoma, putting the family business on standby. At the same time, I was dealing with health concerns, anxiety, and uncertainty, so I created Dizzy Designz. Through it all, I still enjoyed crafting and studying in various areas while experimenting with different hobbies. I opted to go solo, but I truly wanted my specialty to promote Godly beliefs.
Fast forward, I put my business ideas on hold and sought God for His will. I didn't want my business to be about my limitations; instead, I wanted to glorify and honor the magnificent God I serve. The new name for my business became Simply Rooted in Truth because that became the goal of my company and my personal life.
Unfortunately, I didn’t start up as I hoped. Life continued to happen; in fact, more distractions and limitations hindered my progress, but God kept the fire burning. I now hold dearly to scripture, reminding me to fight the good fight and remain joyful in all circumstances. I am now pushing through my limits because I feel God is using me as a witness. I have trust that God will heal me, but I also believe that He will utilize me!
I pray that this business will bring glory to God and reach out to the community that He desires. I aim to praise and seek God with each design and I invite the Holy Spirit in with all I do. He is the artist, and I am merely the canvas.
