KPGC 88.7 FM The Light KPGC has been broadcasting from Norman, Arkansas with a Light Contemporary Christian format since 2017. "Radio to Live By"

In October of 2024 KPGC became 2100 Watt 88.7 FM The Light. In October of 2024 KPGC became full power 2100 Watt 88.7 FM The Light serving all of Montgomery County and reaching Bonnerdale, Glenwood, Amity, Alpine, Kirby, and Mena in neighboring counties. KPGC 88.7 FM The Light is owned and operated by His Will, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Operating expenses are funded through listener support and underwriting by local businesses.

ATTN: ORSD Students, Parents/Guardians

In compliance with Arkansas Act 122, the Ouachita River School District will implement the "Bell to Bell, No Cell Act" beginning the 2025-26 school year.

-The law applies to all Ouachita River School District campuses - Acorn and Oden and all schools in Arkansas.

-Students will not be permitted to use cellular and personal electronic devices from the beginning bell (official start of school day) to the dismissal bell. Usage of cellular and personal electronic devices will be prohibited during class time, between classes, during recesses, and at lunch.

-Exceptions will only be made for students with special circumstances, as outlined in the law. These students will be permitted to utilize devices in designated areas of the building for temporary and limited use, as outlined in their approved 504/IEP plan.

-Additional policy details will be shared in student handbooks and at Open House events on each respective campus.

You must look at your test score and check your GPA. For example, if you have a 20 in math on the ACT, you must have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Our Story

KPGC 95.1 was founded by Len Doughty of Norman, Arkansas. The station's slogan, Radio to Live By, speaks to his desire to provide wholesome, values-driven programming to local communities. KPGC provides a well-rounded mixture of Christian programs for children and adults with music, news, talk, dramatized stories and more. The station is proud to be an affiliate of LifeTalk Radio. His Will, Inc., the parent company of KPGC, was established November 7, 2013. On November 25, 2013 an application was accepted by the FCC for a Construction Permit for a non-commercial, low power, FM radio station license in Norman, AR. The FCC granted the Construction Permit to His Will, Inc. on January 24, 2014, authorizing construction of a non-commercial, low power, FM radio station in Norman, AR to operate at 90 Watts ERP on 95.1 MHz. On March 21, 2014 the request for call letters KPGC-LP was granted. The IRS issued non-profit 501(c)(3) status to His Will, Inc. on February 4, 2015. KPGC-LP began broadcasting on January 19, 2017 on the authority of the FCC Construction Permit. An application for a license was filed on January 23, 2017, and it was issued on January 25, 2017.
