Gracious Loving Father,
We are excited to come before you with gladness in our hearts as we sing praises to the name of our Lord. We lift up our hands in Your name to exalt his name together. We come glorifying our God.
Lord, we come lifting Your name on high as Americans. As we intercede for the nation and the election 2024. We were taught to respect the flag and to pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. We were taught what the Declaration of Independence meant and the main purpose. That was to explain to the colonists’ right to revolution. In other words, to declare the causes which impel them to separation. Separation from the mother country that threatened our sense of security, economic stability, and identity. The preamble sought to inspire and unite us through the vision of a better life. Congress had to prove the legitimacy of its cause. and the Constitution. America was founded by, In God we trust.. That the United Colonies are, and have the Right to be Free and Independent States that is America, the land of the free. The government wants to take the FREEDOM away from us. We know the truth and the truth will set us free according to John 8:32, but we are not instilling it in our children.
The Constitution of America Constitution was written during the summer of 1787 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by 55 delegates to a Constitutional Convention that was called ostensibly to amend the Articles of Confederation (1781–89), the country’s first written constitution. The Constitution was the product of political compromise after long and often rancorous debates over issues such as
states’ rights, representation, and
slavery. Delegates from small and large states disagreed over whether the number of representatives in the new federal legislature should be the same for each state—as was the case under the Articles of Confederation—or different depending on a state’s population ( by Britannica).
LORD, thank you for America, for the Declaration of Independence and for the Constitution that was written for America to obey. In the word, you tell us to obey the government, for God is the One who has put it there. There is no government anywhere that God has not placed in power. So those who refuse to obey the law of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow (Ro. 13:1-2) and what will happen if we disobey.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man many shall be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound, but where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: that as sin hath reigned to death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord (Ro.5:19-21). Obedience is the best policy to keep America free, so we need to do our civil duty to go vote at the elect board for the right candidate for President following by Vice President as we pray the word of God in the powerful name of Jesus.
