Tague Gallery Welcome All! The Tague Gallery is an ongoing project and social experiment. With good energy on our side, we are hoping to open to the public summer 2014!

What a funny little place is 16 Eagle Street. For the past few years the Tague Gallery has offered those familiar with it a place to Relax, a place to Heal, and a place to Create; memories, works of art, new relationships. We have reached a crucial point where unfortunately the double edged sword, Funds, have gotten in the way of our little nirvana. While rent on Eagle Street happens to be insanel

y affordable, LIFE ...
is not. If The Tague Gallery Family cannot raise a certain dollar amount in the next few months, our beloved little Place will be lost... perhaps to be replaced by yet another T-Shirt printing shop or (yikes) pizza joint. So lets gather our resources, point these great minds in the right direction, and get some magic going! THE PLAN:
For Summer 2014, The Gallery will be opening as a clean, inviting, (sometimes) quiet place for intellectual and interested brains to gather. We will offer used books, wearable/custom art clothing pieces & homewares, and (GASP!) .... drumroll please...
L O C A L A R T:
from real, live, breathing LOCAL artists. Also, conveniently enough, The Gallery contains a handy dandy (little tiny 5x5') stage, where poetry readings, and even one (or two or three) man shows can take place. For a while i was getting discouraged. Thought we might as well just give up. But the fact of the matter is I (Z), have the opportunity to make something
BEAUTIFUL for this COMMUNITY. VIVA LA LOCAL BUSINESS!

Spent a very productive day with our youngest artist collaborator, Haley Beliveau. She is busy making designs for plush stuffed creatures, and drawing up a beautiful rainbow fish logo idea.
It is truly amazing how ones ideas seem to expand infinitely in the company of other creative minds. Very pleasant day indeed.
