These Double Dee’s handle fairly well on my track and the track but they wear like warm butter. Fastest tire wear I’ve ever seen by a longshot. They’re green compound same as all the other tires I run on my buggy, truggy and SCT. I’m guessing the tiny and wideish spaced pins are the reason these aren’t holding up for me. Has anyone tried the sprinter? Does it compare to a Holeshot well? It looks like the lugs are a bit bigger and more tightly packed, maybe it’ll last better on the surface I run.

My first RC race with my little. What a day at the park! She had such a great time. With 120 entries on the dirt track it was for sure gonna be a long day. Everyone was so warm and friendly to this little munchkin running around the pits and the track. What a testament to how awesome our community is. Racing went till 9:30 and Remi was in it for the long haul. She had fun with all her new friends all day long! Winning some and stuff from the huge raffle table was icing on the cake!

And this is why we write stuff down! Thinking I want to lower the center diff weight I tore into the truck without a clue how I have it setup. Turns out I wrote it right on the diff! Knowing where you’re coming from makes tuning much easier.

I saw someone venting their tires this way at the track so I thought I’d try. No idea what the advantages may be but maybe I’ll find out.
