Greetings.

We will have a 10 day Daniel Fast Jan 5-14th. Fasting is a time to consecrate ourselves to God by denying our flesh and focusing on Him. There are health, mental and spiritual benefits to fasting. It helps us to hear God's voice clearer and we petition him to move in certain areas of our lives during this time. Below is a list of food to include and not include in your fasting diet. Please cater your fast according to your specific needs. Those who are on medication should continue to take their prescriptions and be creative with what you give up. TV, Social Media, etc. As you cultivate your fast, remember, if it doesn't mean anything to you, it doesn't mean anything to God. It must be a sacrifice. I recommend the book "Fasting" by Jentzen Franklin.
