๐Ÿ“๐‚๐ก๐ข๐œ๐š๐ ๐จ, ๐ˆ๐‹ | November 17 2025 A Chicago mother and her kids were brutally jumped and left hospitalized.

Corshawnda Hatter took to social media in an emotional post, saying that while walking with her son and daughter, a group of kids started jumping them, which was all captured on camera.

The mother, who has been battling sickle cell anemia and is gravely ill, says her son had been recently getting bullied at Orville T. Bright School and believes this is what caused this to happen.

She had reached out to school staff, who did nothing about her son being bullied.

Corshawnda says her son was beaten and slammed to the ground, her daughter had her hair pulled, and she was brutally beaten and had her hair snatched out of her head, which put them in the hospital.

This morning, a group of protesters stood outside the school alongside Corshawnda, asking for answers and demanding justice.

We think the kids that are involved need to be charged & held accountable .๏ฟผ

๐Ÿ“ MILWAUKEE , WI -31 year old Aโ€™nya Raymond was shot and killed on Nov 5 2025 . Kevin Griffin, has been arrested and charged in her death and the related homicide of another individual, Terrance Wilder.

He is expected to return for a preliminary hearing on November 26. It is currently unknown if Griffin has secured legal counsel.

A criminal complaint filed on November 15 indicates that Griffin admitted to shooting a man (Terrance) whom he was trying to evict from a property on the 4000 block of North 12th Street on November 4. The victim has been identified by family members as Terrance Wilder, who was 39 years old.

Griffin told investigators that he also shot and killed Aโ€™nya Raymond, aged 31, and later disposed of her remains in an alley. Prosecutors are concerned that Raymond's child may have witnessed the murder of his mother and was left to roam the streets unattended. Authorities eventually found the boy alone, wearing clothes stained with blood.

๐Ÿ“ Louisiana , Monroe | Tuesday, Oct 28 Around 2:30 a.m. police found two men and a 2-year-old baby with gunshot wounds to the head at a home on Grammont Street near the city's public works department.One of the men has been identified as Li Ojay 'Ojay' Simpson, the 2-year-old was his daughter, Jhersi Simpson
The third victim has been identified as Jamal Bank.

Detectives arrested Travis Payton, 24, of Monroe on Wednesday, charging him with three counts of first-degree murder, home invasion, and criminal conspiracy.

Payton has 11 prior arrests and three convictions. Payton served less than three years of an over 15-year sentence and was still on probation at the time of the murders.

Arianna Bosby 26 was in a car in the 7600 block of South Vincennes Avenue when someone in another vehicle fired shots just before 5 p.m., according to Chicago police.

Bosby was struck in the abdomen and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where she was initially listed in critical condition but later pronounced dead.

No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.

THE MURDER OF TAYSHANA REED

Around 9:50 p.m., Meridian police officers responded to a call of a shooting on 11th Avenue. When they arrived, they found 19-year-old Tayshana Reed suffering from a gunshot wound.

Reed was rushed to Anderson Hospital and later airlifted to Jackson, where she ultimately died from her injuries at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

According to authorities, 28-year-old Jaelin Lashawn Price, who previously had a relationship with Reed, was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, felony possession of a firearm, and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Investigators say Price was on probation at the time of the shooting.

More than three years ago, the world was shaken by a heartbreรกking story in Memphis.

Danielle Hoyle, just 27 years old, and her newborn daughter Kennedy, only two days old, never made it back home after meeting with Kennedyโ€™s father, Brandon Isabelle.

That evening, Danielleโ€™s car was found abandoned with a broken window. Moments later, her bรณdy was discovered nearby โ€” but baby Kennedy was nowhere to be found.

Investigators say Isabelle confessed to leading Danielle into dรกngรฉr and admitted to รฉndรญng her life and throwing their baby into a river . Despite massive search efforts, Kennedyโ€™s tiny body was never recovered.

Now, after years of waiting, the case finally reaches a courtroom. Brandon Isabelle faces trial this week, and Danielle and Kennedyโ€™s family continue to seek justice for the young mother and her baby girl whose lives were cรบt short before they truly began.

Their story is a reminder of how fragile life is and how deeply families and communities can be affected by trรกgรฉdy.

Our condolences ๐Ÿ’ and strong prayers ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ goes out to Kizzy Wells the mother of zahrie and her whole family as today they lay zahrie to rest following an accident that happened in Chicago (Lake Michigan) last month . Zahrie was also best friends with Kenneka Jenkins. According to CBS News, when Walls fell into the water, she was not wearing a life jacket, and she did not know how to swim. The outlet noted, the Coast Guard claimed to have responded to 34 calls over the weekend, despite normally responding to five to ten calls on a typical summer weekend.

Zahrie was a well-known hairstylist with more than 76,000 followers on social media, and owner of Z the Stylist Suites in Chicago Lawn. She worked with celebrities and influencers, and spent most of her time working, her mother said. She was also close to her family, especially her mom, her 5-year-old goddaughter and her younger sister, Tia.

Kianna Jackson, 25, was shot and killed outside a McDonald's in Brandon, Mississippi last Monday. The suspect died from a self-inflicted wound on Wednesday. Loved one describe Kianna as a devoted and cherished mother who always put her children first.Jackson leaves behind her two children, 5 and 3 years old .
