Interviews are something we specialize in, and a few years ago we had the unbelievable opportunity to sit down with a true legend, Maddalena Riboli.
Maddalena was a trailblazer in the wine industry. She broke barriers by opening some of the first ever wine tasting rooms in California during the 1960s and led a female driven distribution company at a time when the industry was overwhelmingly male-dominated. She transformed challenges into opportunities and never settled for anything less than what she believed was right. Throughout her life, she demonstrated what it really means to chase your dreams with passion and purpose.
Her motto was “Work hard, love your family and always keep moving forward.”
Today would have been Maddalena’s 102nd birthday. Unfortunately, she passed away just a few months ago, but not before leaving a legacy of love, perseverance and undeniable badassery.
She was and still is an absolute inspiration and role model to our team, so today we raise our glasses and cheers to the amazing Maddalena Riboli.
