Barrage Marion: A Vision for Haiti’s Future 🇭🇹

Located in the Nord-Est of Haiti, the Marion Dam was one of the boldest agricultural projects launched under President Jovenel Moïse. It was designed to irrigate thousands of hectares, boost food production, and bring real change to rural communities.

Though unfinished, this project still stands as a symbol of what’s possible when we believe in local development. Imagine what Haiti could become if visions like this were fully realized , if our natural resources were managed, our farmers empowered, and our lands cultivated with purpose.

Launched under the leadership of President Jovenel Moïse, this dam was envisioned to irrigate hundreds of hectares of fertile land in the northeast of Haiti. A symbol of ambition for agricultural self-sufficiency and rural revitalization.
Today, it stands as both a powerful resource and a reminder of unfinished hopes.
