The official DJLuckyCDay Celebrity Basketball Game recap is here courtesy of Professional Cinematographer 🎥🔥

June 11th is officially “DJ Lucky C Day” in the beautiful City of City of North Miami, and I wanted to create a space where the community could connect with their favorite celebrities, influencers, and local leaders while enjoying a fun-filled day of basketball and family entertainment.

First and foremost, thank you to my 99JAMZ family, the office of Councilman Pierre F Charles, and The Law Office of Eric Matthew Rubenstein Eric Rubenstein | 877-829-ERIC | Car Accident & Injury Lawyer for serving as our biggest supporters and sponsors.

I probably stressed southpromo and Nito out a little more than I should have 😂, but together we made magic happen. Thank y’all!

Now that weekend is over.. I took a lil time to rest and recover.. but the inaugural DJLuckyCDay Celebrity Basketball Game @ Joe Celestin Center was a MASSIVE SUCCESS! 🎉🏆

We started on time.. everything was well organized for attendees and players.. the crowd supported our vendors in a major way… 🗣️ WE HAD OVER 300 PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING!

I’m waitin on the final confirmation for all numbers but I know we raised over $2500 in ticket sales!!! I have a program in mind that the donation/scholarship $$ is goin towards!

I’ve been sayin “thank you” countlessly since Saturday because I truly mean it!

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Dad! 🎂🕊️

My father never cared much for birthday cakes or parties. But as he got older, all he really wanted was his grandkids around—watching them run around, laugh, and enjoy themselves. Truth be told, the cake was always more for them than it was for him.

This is the first year I won’t be able to pull up and catch him trying to act nonchalant about the whole thing. 😂🥹🙏🏽

These past four months have been some of the hardest of my life—trying to process grief while still being a father, a supportive husband, keeping the #1 Night Show in the city at the top, and planning the Celebrity Basketball Game while creating a scholarship in my father’s name.

Some days are harder than others, but I’m doing my best to carry on the values he instilled in me and make him proud.
