🎙✨ Happy National Radio Day! ✨🎶
As a kid, if I wasn’t playing video games, I was glued to the radio—specifically 99Jamz. I was one of those kids that used to record the songs off the radio on to blank tapes..
I grew up listening to legends like James T, Terry Alexander, Al B Sylk, Big Lip, Supa Cindy, Benji Brown, and so many more who made this station the voice of Miami.
Fast forward to today… every single day I crack the mic or touch the turntables for the millions listening, it still feels like a dream. Almost 9 years of living that dream, and I’m still humbled by it.
Much love and gratitude to the artists, DJs, label reps, and most importantly—YOU, the listeners—for rocking with me, pushing me, and allowing me to grow from just being a DJ into a full radio personality. 🙏🏾
And of course, salute to everyone who makes the night show what it is. We do this for the culture, for the city, and for the love of the music.
Radio raised me. Radio made me. And radio is still the dream I get to live every day. 💯
