I cannot stop thinking about this one. From the very first page, B.K. Borison had me hooked, fun, flirty, and just the right amount of heat 🔥. The banter had me laughing, the romance had me swooning, and the characters stayed with me long after I finished.

I usually cannot stand paranormal themes, but this one completely won me over. Sweet, steamy, and surprisingly heartwarming, it is the perfect festive escape. I listened on audio, and wow, dual narration by and brought every moment to life. It was holiday perfection! Karissa and Will made the emotions hit even harder, and Nolan’s Irish accent? Instant swoon.

Harriet is a sunshine-filled shopkeeper with candy canes, trinkets, and festive pajamas galore, but beneath her cheerful exterior she is navigating heartfelt, relatable struggles. And Nolan, oh Nolan. A hundred-year-old ghost sent to haunt Harriet as the ghost of Christmas past, grouchy yet utterly yearning, he is everything. 💘

Okay but tell me why this BOTM box understood the assignment 📦✨

If you’re in the mood for cozy vibes, emotional depth, and a little holiday magic, these are my picks this month ⬇️

🎀 Good Spirits by B.K. Borison

Found family, small-town charm, and that signature Borison warmth that feels like a hug. Slow-burn, heart-forward, and so comforting. If you love cozy romances with depth—this one is a must.

🌊 The Other Side of Now by Paige Harrison

Haven’t read this one yet, but I’m already intrigued by the emotional depth and reflective vibes. Saving this for when I want a quieter, feelings-forward read.

🎄 The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox

Also unread (for now), but holiday chaos, baking, twin swaps, and romance? Yes please. This is absolutely going on my December TBR for peak cozy season.

One book for now, two books for later, and zero regrets 📚✨

💭QOTD: Do you read holiday books early… or only in December?

Happy Christmas romance season, friends ✨🎄
My latest holiday TBR addition is You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Sophie Sullivan, and I’m already swooning over the premise alone. Forced proximity on a Christmas tree farm? A cinnamon-roll hockey hero who can’t forget the one that got away? Yes please. ❄️📸🏒

Maisie is focused on chasing her photography dreams…and absolutely not thinking about the one-night stand who vanished by sunrise. Nick, meanwhile, is benched from hockey and stuck replaying the moment he walked away. When they both land at Tickle Tree Farms for the holidays, things get very merry …and maybe even a little magical. ✨❤️

If you love:
🎄 Festive small towns
✨ Second chances
🏒 Athletes with soft hearts
📷 Creative heroines

…this feels like the perfect cozy December pick. I can’t wait to curl up with some hot cocoa and dive in. ☕️💕

Have you read this one yet? Should I bump it to the top of my holiday stack??

So grateful to and for sending the cutest bookmail my way! 🎄✨

✨ Happy Sunday, friends! ✨

Thank you, Partner

Pub 📆 : November 4, 2025

Sundays are for slowing down, savoring a cozy moment, and getting lost in words that feel like a deep breath… 🌿💛

How About Now by is already giving me that perfect Sunday feeling…reflective but hopeful, honest but full of light. Kate Baer has a gift for capturing the heart of modern womanhood, the beauty in our evolution, and the bravery in embracing who we are becoming.

I’m so excited to dive into this new poetry collection and let it find all the corners of my heart that need to hear it. If you’ve started reading, what poem has stuck with you so far? And if it’s on your TBR, what are you most excited for? ✨

Wishing you a slow, soft Sunday and a book that feels like a friend. 🤍

Somehow, Charlie Mackesy always knows exactly what the heart needs to hear.

His new book, Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse, and the Storm, has been a quiet comfort lately. Life’s felt a little stormy these past few months, and this one’s reminded me to slow down, breathe, and keep looking for the light…even when it’s hard to see it.

And the illustrations… absolutely stunning. Each page feels like a piece of calm in the middle of the chaos. 💛

I’ve been terrible at posting (and even worse at responding to comments and DMs 🙈). Thank you so much to those of you who’ve reached out and stuck around, it really means more than you know.

It’s tender and honest in the way only Mackesy can be. The kind of book you sit with, not rush through. 🌧️🐴

I’ve followed Humans of New York on Instagram for years, so when sent me Dear New York, Brandon Stanton’s latest book, I was stoked!! Not only is it a beautiful clothbound edition, but inside I felt like I’d stepped into a hundred different lives. Some stories broke my heart. Some made me laugh. Others reminded me that people are so achingly resilient, complicated, and beautiful.

Brandon Stanton has a gift for stopping strangers on the street and drawing out a whole world from just a conversation. And reading these letters feels like a reminder to pause and really see the people around us…at the grocery store, at school pickup, in line at the coffee shop. Everyone is carrying something. Everyone has a story.

This isn’t a book you read in one sitting. It’s one you wander through, page by page, like walking slowly through the city itself.

✨ Do you like books told through letters, short stories, or snapshots of different people’s lives?
