Last week, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the CDC “failed miserably” during the COVID-19 pandemic. He announced major leadership changes to “restore it as the world’s gold standard public health agency.”

In Senate testimony, Kennedy also detailed plans to shift U.S. health care from “sick care” to prevention and chronic disease management through the Make America Healthy Again report, while tackling drug prices, food safety, rural health and more.
