Let’s give a toast to our last bookclub of the season! For May, the All Things Cozy Book Club is taking the boat out on the lake for a ride with the read One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune. ☀️❤️

Good things happen at the lake. So when Alice returns to the lakeside cottage where she spent one transformative summer as a teenager, she hopes to recapture its magic while caring for her injured grandmother. Now a photographer who’s more comfortable behind the lens, Alice finds herself drawn back into the orbit of Charlie, the boy from that long-ago summer, now all grown up and impossible to ignore. As old memories resurface and new feelings take shape, Alice begins to worry for her heart.

We’ll be gathering for our final book club of the season on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM Pacific / 8:30 PM Eastern. Sign up at Patreon.com/allthingscozy

Be sure to join us for one last read before we turn the page to our summer hiatus!

Our new EP is out — thank you for being patient! ❤️

This week we send Timothée Chalamet into a rage by polishing our monocles and breaking out our finest outfits for an afternoon at the opera. We saw Philip Glass’ celebrated Akhnaten at the LA Opera and had the best time — hear all about it by visiting the link in our bio! 🎭

All Things Cozy is in its hero era! 🦸This week we’re throwing on our red cape to bring coziness to your Sunday with a discussion on superheroes we loved as kids and the ones we’d want to join our squad today. We also chat about what our ideal superpowers would be - and let’s just say there’s a slim chance we’ll get keys to the city anytime soon 🤣

This Easter, Project Hail Mary Had a Little Lamb went exactly according to plan. He has risen… into orbit, complete with a patchwork of hand-drawn blue stars and a custom space helmet. If only Commander Lamb Chop could see this little lamb now. 🐑🪐

Matt really bleat the odds with this lamb cake iteration — every year he outdoes himself (at least from this co-host’s view down here on planet Earth). Happy Easter! And in the words of every lamb who’s gone where no other lamb has gone before: shear me up, Scotty! 🛸

For April, the All Things Cozy Book Club is assigning a curious case by Extremely Upper Management: The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. 🌊🏡

This fantasy novel follows Linus Baker, a by-the-book caseworker for a government agency that oversees the well-being of children in government-sanctioned orphanages. When he’s sent to investigate a mysterious orphanage on a remote island, he meets six extraordinary children who each possess unusual and potentially dangerous abilities and their enigmatic caretaker, Arthur Parnassus. As Linus and Arthur grow closer, long-held secrets are exposed, and Linus must make a difficult choice.

We’ll be traveling to Marsyas Island on Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 PM Pacific / 8:30 PM Eastern to discuss.

If we survive this assignment, we’ll be picking up one last beach read in May before we go on summer vacation: One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune.

The Rainbabies. Corduroy. Stellaluna. Henry and Mudge. So many books helped shape our childhood memories—and this episode was long overdue, as evidenced by a passionate discussion that could have gone on for hours. 📚We wrap up our journey through the stories and illustrations that defined us with a soft, friendly children’s book battle, reminding us that we grew up in a true golden age of classics. This is our love letter to every young bookworm, past and present. ❤️

For March, the All Things Cozy Book Club is reading Bread of Angels by Patti Smith. 🪽

The most intimate of Smith’s memoirs, Bread of Angels takes us through her teenage years where the first glimmers of art and romance take hold. Arthur Rimbaud and Bob Dylan emerge as creative role models as she begins to write poetry then lyrics, ultimately merging both into the songs of iconic recordings such as Horses, Wave, and Easter.

She leaves it all behind to marry her one true love, Fred Sonic Smith, with whom she creates a life of devotion and adventure on a canal in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Here, she invents a room of her own, a low table, a Persian cup, inkwell and pen, entering at dawn to write. The couple spend nights in their landlocked Chris-Craft studying nautical maps and charting new adventures as they start a family.

And a heads up so you can start packing: we’re embarking on an island getaway with our April selection: The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. 🌊🏡 You can join our club at Patreon.com/allthingscozy
