Wow!

𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁

A season long championship battle in the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models will be decided over the first two days of the 57th Oktoberfest Race Weekend. The Late Models will once again compete in twin 22 lap features Thursday, October 8th, as part of the Reffner 88 followed by twin 20 lap features Friday, October 9th, to close out the 2026 Late Model season at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway. Heading into Oktoberfest Jacob Goede holds a slim seven point advantage over Skylar Holzhausen.

Through 16 feature events this season Goede has four wins and has finished inside the Top Five in all 16 races. Holzhausen has three victories, 15 Top Five finishes and a Top 10 in every feature this season.

While Goede and Holzhausen have been the primary contenders for the points lead, several other drivers have found Victory Lane this season. Steve Carlson is a three time winner, while Mike Carlson and Adam Degenhardt each have two victories. Nick Clements and Mike Litchfeld have also picked up one win apiece.

Other notable drivers that have yet to get a win in 2026 but are certainly capable include Adam Bendzick who sits third in the points and Steve Bachman who is currently 4th in the points. Bendzick was a two time winner last season while Bachman picked up a win himself.

With four races remaining and just seven points separating the top two, anything can happen in the battle for the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model Track Championship.
