Construction starts on North Cranberry Boulevard today to help strengthen the road. It is undergoing a full reconstruction using the Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) method from Lucaya Avenue to Barry Road. This process recycles the existing road materials, strengthens the base with special additives and then applies a new asphalt surface. The result is a stronger, smoother roadway designed to last for many years.

The reconstruction will last for roughly one month. Drivers will see some traffic disruptions during that timeframe, and may see additional work taking place for several months afterward.

If you live in the section of road under construction, please have your solid waste bins out before 7 a.m. to ensure prompt pickup.
