🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Northshore Dr. Closed Starting Monday, August 4

Northshore Drive will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, August 4 to allow crews to complete grading, paving, and patching work near the Northshore & Penrose intersection.

A detour route will be in place through Sunday, August 17 (or until work is complete). See photo.

Please Note: The railroad bridge over the Big Sioux River is also anticipated to reopen this weekend, with increased train traffic expected daily. Please use extra caution and watch for trains when crossing the tracks along the detour route.

**Residents will still be able to access the parking area from the east side of Northshore Drive, and those using the temporary access behind the Elementary School can still reach the north end of Penrose from the west via the detour.

Thank you for your patience as this important work moves forward.
