Busy day at Breaking Branches Pictures as we recorded several voice parts for E9 of Slatersville: Big thanks to my friend Karen DiOrio, way back from the 2001 “Getting Out of Rhode Island” days, with her son Ryan DiOrio, Emma Dombrowski and Eric Carlson. Also, thanks to Melissa Flaherty who came by to record and woke me up from an unexpected crash nap when she rang the doorbell. I’m so exhausted from editing long hours, that I had nodded off and was out of it when she showed up, so I forgot to take a picture when she was here. 😂😂😂 But she was!! Here… This is gonna be one hell of a sequence. Thank you all 😊🙏❤️ Watch Donate Buy & Learn at firstmillvillage.com

Big thanks to the Valley Breeze and Corey Plante for this Slatersville: America's First Mill Village article released today. As it says, we are in need of support to continue our working on our final two episodes, 10 & 11. Yes, we after Labor Day we will have 9 of the 11 episodes done, BUT 10 & 11 are HUGE, and we have to finish this gigantic beast of a series. Meanwhile, you can plan to join us on Labor Day at the Museum of Work & Culture for "Episode 9: Exodus." Thank you ALL!!

NORTH SMITHFIELD — Fifteen years into the making of his 11-part documentary series “Slatersville,” filmmaker Christian de Rezendes can already picture the final frame.

We decided to film Park Ranger and Slatersville: America's First Mill Village Co-writer (E8-E11) Allison Horrocks, who I have always felt so fortunate to work with. She knows her history, and she delivers points in ways that should be heard in the remaining episodes. Big thanks to Allison, John Dolber and the Flaherty’s, who allowed us to film another interview in their Green Street mill house… Again 😊🙏❤️ Watch, Learn & Support us at firstmillvillage.com.

After a great lunch I had with our Slatersville: America's First Mill Village Associate Producer John Butler, I figured it was time to take a walk down Benefit Street to the Providence Atheneum to deliver a blu-ray set. Why not?! The building is mentioned in Episode 4, because William Smith Slater had a hand in building it. So it should be there!! The man at the front desk was very receptive 😊🙏❤️👍 Donate, watch & learn more at firstmillvillage.com 🎥
