Thanks to everyone who attended the first annual Battle to the Beacon! We had a full house the whole evening. I appreciate all the engagement from the bands. You are the reason this was such a success. Just to recap on some numbers... The event page had engagement with 7,800 people. The poll was shared 173 times and there were 1,600 votes. Those are pretty big numbers. Thanks again for all the shares. Congratulations the the prize winners. Mud The Cosmonaut scored a $500 in store credit to Haggerty's Music and The Carrion Crawlers won a Crow Peak Session made possible with the help of 605 Media & Entertainment. All the bands did an awesome job and it was a really unique experience for the local music scene. I would like to extend another thanks to The Custer Beacon for providing a great venue and making the whole evening smooth and seamless. My final appreciation goes out to all the judges who donated time from their busy schedules to contribute to this event.
