College recruiting has been put on hold for high school athletes. What type of effect has that had on players like New Trier High School football player David Davidkov?

The coronavirus, COVID-19, pandemic has postponed the beginning of the high school sports season so far, meaning that sports like soccer, water polo, badminton, baseball and lacrosse have had their seasons put on hold as the country waits to find out what to do next.

New Trier is stepping up to help our local first responders with protective equipment. Northfield Campus Science Coordinator Robyn Ward gathered 6,000 gloves, 500 aprons, and over 200 goggles with alcohol wipes from the Science Department, and the Northfield Police Department was happy to receive them.

The supplies can be used by law enforcement, the fire department, and local retirement homes they help. Thank you to our first responders for protecting our community in this difficult time!
