The April/May edition is our 25th anniversary and will also be our farewell. The issue will be up online through the summer. It will be a large issue filled with stories and advertising.
The care and support from everyone as we make our way out is fantastic. I am so grateful 🙏 for being able to provide a quality publication over all these years. Thanks to the many who've supported it with stories, columns, advertising, and design. And thanks for reading. I will miss working with all of you. Check ✔️ out the Feb/Mar issue online now. Discover Fishing at the Pier which will occur on June 10, for up to 90 youth aged 9-14.
Location: Discovery Pier, 13271 SW Bay Shore Dr, Traverse City, MI
Who: Youth ages 9-14
Cost: Free
This program was developed by Discovery Center & Pier in partnership with Inland Seas Education Association, Michigan United Conservation Clubs, & the Northwest Michigan Fishing Club. The program will focus on teaching youth aged 9-14 about Great Lakes food webs & basic fishing techniques. Pre-registration is required. Two sessions will be offered: 9-11:30am (arrive at 8:30am) & 1:30-4pm (arrive at 1pm).
