Could just be me, or maybe not...

I'd rather learn business from someone who's built one than someone who's only branded themselves as an expert.

I spent 12 years building Grand Event Design before I ever decided to teach and mentor on what I know.

The business came first.
The lessons came second.
The advice came last.

I believe business advice hits differently when it's earned—not just studied. Because building a business and talking about building a business are two very different things.

Now when I speak, coach, or teach, I'm not sharing theories. I'm sharing receipts.

But that is just me though :)

Okay… I just left the local library, and I’m pretty sure I now have PTLS (Post-Traumatic Library Stress). 😂😩🤷🏽‍♀️

I went in fully expecting a soft day: get some work done while three fifths of the fab five read books, colored, played on the computers—you know… library ‘ish.

Y’all… this had to be the LOUDEST library I’ve ever been in. My body was tense the entire time. I couldn’t focus, my ears were practically ringing from random kids screaming and running everywhere, and my anxiety just kept creeping up.

Did I just go at the wrong time of day, or is this what libraries are like now? 😅

I could’ve sworn there used to be an unspoken library etiquette where everyone whispered and there was that one librarian who “Shhhh” 🤫 everybody. IDK maybe I’m just showing my age. 😂

I have something to tell ya'll...

You don't have to wait until January to reset. If you've been in survival mode, disconnected, and wondering where the year went—this is your permission slip to full out PAUSE.

Reconnect with what you're building.
Remember why you started.
And most importantly be honest with yourself...

Does the life you're creating actually feel like the one you prayed for? Because success should FEEL like success, not just look like it on social media. (umm hmm, yeah I said it)

The rest of this year is still yours to write. So stop reading this and get to writing!

My entrepreneurial mind and spirit are on 🔥, which makes me terrified and excited at the same time. All the thoughts…

1) what if it doesn’t work?
2) what if its too much too soon?
3) is it the right time?
4) Am I crazier than I think to take all this risk?

But also…

1) can see and feel it too.
2) This would be game changing
3) If anybody gonna jump, why not me
4) and of course, God don’t play bout me
