CSUN’s 40th Annual Powwow was held on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10am-8pm. There was a variety of vendors selling jewelry, clothes, paintings, delicious food such as frybread, Navajo tacos, and more! 😊

Powwows are meant to celebrate Native American culture through community, dancing, singing, and food.

Sunday night, a photo posted anonymously to YikYak depicted a rifle, a pistol, and ammunition. CSUN released a statement claiming there was no immediate threat, but students discussed the issue on Reddit and debated if they should attend class Monday.

We wanted to know how Matadors on campus felt about the situation.
