The initial concept of This is Most Certainly Brew Coffee originated in 2012 when Dr. Timothy Hamp was drinking his morning coffee. One day, when he got to the bottom of his cup, he said to himself, “This is most certainly brew.”
He thought, “What a play on Dr. Martin Luther’s very words.” Later he decided that he would like to use this idea to help Martin Luther Jr/Sr High School, Northrop in a

n endeavor that would generate income perpetually to support the ministry. The idea of This is Most Certainly Brew coffee kept nagging at the back of his mind. After he shared his thoughts with Marge Thiesse, Director of Development at MLHS, she immediately came up with the logo and label designs. Dr. Hamp and MLHS Principal Paul Steinhaus then began the search for the “perfect coffee partner.” Together they established the criteria for a partner. First of all, the roasterie had to be a producer of a high quality product that This is Most Certainly Brew wanted to associate with. Secondly, the roasterie had to have a mutual Christian philanthropic philosophy and work ethic. Finally, it had to be a reputable, long-standing business. After searching for three years for the perfect roasterie, they decided on one located in Minnesota that met their expectations of a viable partner. In June 2017 a tasting event was arranged at Sweet Indeed Bakery in Madelia. The taste buds of several coffee connoisseurs were enlisted. The roasterie brought several of their best coffees and the tasting began! The team of tasters came up with four coffee brews combined in unique proportions to exclusively launch This is Most Certainly Brew. This is Most Certainly Brew is honored to offer tasty coffees for nearly everyone's palate. Our coffees are roasted in Minnesota by a roasterie that is committed to quality, taste, freshness and customer service. Their coffee knowledge and intimate connection with the world’s leading coffee plantations allows us to offer exotic organics and lesser-known, but more flavorful, varieties to you. The green beans are personally selected from plantations and co-ops directly, which allows for better quality control.
