Please help a local family rebuild their lives after a fire destroyed their home.
WFPN Radio wants to get the word out there. Our journalist donated $50.00 to help rebuild a family's lives, after a fire destroyed their home with all their belongings in it. We would like to see others match and or put his donation to shame. Or at least reshare it even if you can't.

This family needs help rebuilding their lives after a fire destroyed their home with everything that they owned in it, in Groton Connecticut on December 29, 2025. They lost their beloved furry friend to which we understand that in itself is a hard thing to deal with.

Donate whatever you can, we will ask the beloved family of Michael and Lauire Jones to monitor this post in case anyone wishes to reach out to them with questions as to what items are needed, as the fire victims do not currently have access to any of their social media accounts, as their cellphones and computers were all lost in the rapidly spreading fire.

Please click this link and thank you for helping to rebuild a family's lives!

Our Daylight hours start to increase, as we head towards Spring and then eventually, Summer.

Throughout the month of January, we will gain one whole hour of daylight, making our nights shorter and our daylight hours longer.

This trend will continue into February and eventually the longest day of the year in late June.
