Finn had a good day supervising clearing out old dying trees and over grown bushes today. This is a project that we have wanted to start for years, but haven't found the time. Thankfully with the help of some added tractor attachments on the LS Tractor USA MT473 we could get the job done a little easier. No more hand shovel. Stump bucket, chains and our Catawba Attachments grapple to clean up the mess and haul it off to the burn pile. Finn is representing the Catawaba hat..

Now to add back in some better looking landscaping. Trick is, nothing the chickens will scratch and toss all over or try and take dirt baths in. Also plants that MarGOAT Robbie and Selena GOATmez won't eat.

Well, I officially foster failed. ā¤ļø

After a unanimous decision, Sarafina is staying here with us permanently.

She has settled into our herd of mares so naturally, and even though Iā€™ve always said Iā€™m not the biggest fan of mares, she has completely won me over. Sheā€™s the sweetest girl, always the first to greet you in the pasture and happiest to be with people.

Yesterday we took her on our ice cream ride, and she was absolutely phenomenal. She handled everything like sheā€™d been doing it her whole life, and that really sealed the deal for us.

So hereā€™s to foster failing. Welcome home, Sarafina. We couldnā€™t be happier that youā€™re officially part of the Letchworth Farm family. ā¤ļøšŸ“

House Tip #1: Catch the Sunrise

I know youā€™re on vacation, and if youā€™re not an early riser, this one might be a challengeā€”but itā€™s absolutely worth it. If you can, wake up around sunrise and grab a cup of coffee. Head out to the back patio, where the sun rises right across the valley, creating a truly breathtaking view over the farm.

Take a few minutes to meet the goats, say hello to the kitties, or enjoy a peaceful walk along our trails as the farm comes to life. Some mornings here are simply unforgettable, and watching the sunrise over the rolling hills is one of our favorite experiences. We hope it becomes one of yours too!

There is a quiet kind of magic that belongs to sunrise at Letchworth Farm. The stillness of the trails, the presence of the horses, the soft veil of morning mist, and the first gilded light of day come together to form a scene that will stand still in time.
