☘️ 🎓I’m Cece and I have been dancing with Glencastle since I was 5 years old. During my time at Glencastle, I’ve participated in Milwaukee Irish Fest, Feiseanna, Oireachtas, Nationals, and St. Patrick’s day performances. Glencastle has always been my second home and family. Not only have I made friends along the way but I have also been given the opportunity to form special relationships with all of the teachers. I am unable to express how grateful I am to all the teachers at Glencastle for always believing in me and supporting me. I would not have become the dancer I am today without the amazing GID staff. I would also like to thank my parents for supporting me in this journey to get me to where I am today.

I am so excited to take the stage competitively one last time at Nationals this July for solos and with my amazing four hand team. And lastly partake in my final Milwaukee Irish Fest this August.

Although I am starting this new and exciting chapter of my life, I will never forget the memories and friends Glencastle has given. Glencastle, you will be missed! 💚💜🤍

☘️ 🎓Hi, I’m Catherine, and I’ve been dancing for 13 years at Glencastle! I just recently graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, where I was involved in varsity tennis, STEM Scholars, and a variety of school clubs. This fall, I will be attending the University of Iowa to study biomedical engineering.

I started dancing at Glencastle when I was around 5 years old, but since my older sister danced as well, Irish dance has truly been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my dancing career, I have been involved in performances, teaching, and competitions that have shaped me both as a dancer and as a person. I have been a part of a world medal holding dance drama team, world medal holding céilí team, and I am especially proud to call myself a national champion alongside my best friends with our 2024 senior 4-hand team.

Over the years, Irish dance has taken me to places and given me opportunities that five year old me could never have imagined. From local performances and feiseanna to major competitions like Oireachtas, Nationals, All Irelands, and Worlds, every experience has helped me grow both on and off the stage. Some of my favorite memories have come from long competition weekends, team practices, traveling with friends, and celebrating accomplishments together. I am so thankful for the lifelong friendships, lessons, and support system that Glencastle has given me. No matter where life takes me next, Irish dance will always be such an important part of who I am.

Our first free Friday summer movie is one month from today! On June 26th at sunset - 8:36 pm - we'll be showing "Song Sung Blue." Our theme this summer is Sweet Home MKE - our movies will either be set in or filmed in the good old 414!

☘️ 🎓 It’s hard to believe that my time in ghillies is coming to a close. For the last 10 years, I have been dancing, eight of those with Glencastle, but I’ve wanted to dance for as long as I can remember. It’s funny, but years before I enrolled in dance, I danced the jig with Glencastle in a tent at the State Fair.

Throughout my dance career, I’ve had the opportunity to compete, teach, and perform. I am grateful for every memory from my time at Glencastle, with some of my favorites coming from performing at La Crosse Irish Fest each year with my friends. But my best memory is performing the lead in our dance drama at Worlds with my friends and my brother by my side. This was the best final act I could have asked for; a memory made even more special when we finished 5th overall.

This June, I will be graduating from Oak Creek High School, where I spent my time hanging out with friends, competing in track, helping run the school store, and being involved in FBLA/DECA.

My next stop is UW-Oshkosh, where I will begin pursuing my long-time dream of becoming a nurse.

I am so thankful for the entire teaching staff at Glencastle for supporting me throughout my dance journey, especially during challenging times with multiple injuries when I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get back on the floor. Their encouragement and belief in me have meant more than I can express.

Glencastle has been my home for so long, and while I’m excited for college, a part of me will always be on this dance floor.

🎉 Happy Birthday to Jeremy “Kup” Kupferschmid! 🎉

Kup has been part of the team for less than a year, but he already brings over 3 years of roofing and construction experience to the table. As part of our Sales team, he’s known for his hard work, positive attitude, and dedication to getting the job done right.

Outside of work, Kup enjoys cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, and a good glass of whiskey. He’s also proud to be married, a homeowner, and a dad — big accomplishments for someone celebrating the big 2-5 today!
