Visited the Eloheh Farm, Indigenous Center for Earth Justice. Toured the grounds and talked with Randy Woodley. Randy is an author, minister, educator. He lives in this home where individuals can meet on the back porch. The farm now includes a large, indoor facility that has space for 16 people to sleep over and meet inside. Randy and his wife said that this is the last new building that will be placed on the farm's land, about 10 acres. Tepees are used on other parts of the property. You can barely see them next to a small yurt. The center holds educational classes and engages groups in maintaining the various garden areas.

It has been a real treat to get to know Jeff Gere. We attended his story telling event on October 21st. We also virtually listened to him from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Palm Springs, California is a great place to visit during the winter. One of the special places to see is the Palm Springs Art Museum of modern and contemporary art. Not traveling for a while. I’m frequently asked what travel plans I have for the future. I have a few plans that I’ll share later. So, in the meantime I enjoy watching miniature trains like this one in the video. I talked with the person who owns & operates this unique site. He said that he didn’t think his grand children would carry on this tradition. I think that could be true. Even so, there are great possibilities for the real train system. The development of the Amtrak system in the Northwest is really slow. The recent train tragedy near Tacoma, Washington sets back the planned improvements. So, I would urge people to support improvements to the train system along the west coast.
