Life lately.
Baseball....lots of Baseball.
Middle school graduation.
Great Smokey Mountains NPS...kind of overrated 😬.
4-H projects galore.
5k races.
Rentals.

As cool as it would be to travel around all the time. Life doesn't always look like that. As a large family who have church, businesses, careers, and responsibilities, the majority of our time is spent in other areas. But we do enjoy our time traveling and hiking. I will give a breakdown of how GSMNP was at some point.

Our home park!
Cuyahoga Valley National Park ❤️.
It is located in Northeast Ohio.
Beaver Marsh, Kendall Lake, Brandywine falls, Ledges trail, Everett Covered Bridge, Bridal Veil Trail. We are biased, since this is our home park, but we think it is beautiful. We have a goal to hike all 125 miles of hiking trails there.
It's not just a summer park, but the winter activities will blow you away. Northeast Ohio is in the snowbelt, so it is usually dusted with a layer of snow.
The smaller size means you can hop on over in the afternoon and do a quick hike or 2. You don't need itineraries to enjoy the beauty here.
Train rides in the fall from Boston Mill Visitors Center are must do.

3rd massive nest so far in a month...
2 nests in the siding, and now this giant watermelon hanging from our tree...
Who knew homeownership was so stingy? 🙃🥴🙃🥴

Egg blooms.
Same hen, 1 day apart, different sizes, and different color.

The typical brown egg on the left and the filmy one on the right.
Every egg is laid with a protective coming called the "bloom" if you don't wash it off your eggs can last month's on the counter and fridge.
