Severe weather is likely again today with large hail, damaging winds and flash flooding being the biggest threats. There is a conditional threat for a tornado or 2 in the area with the lake breeze being a wild card ingredient to today's setup. If a storm can pull in the lake breeze over land it will have the opportunity to rotate. Have a way to get warnings this afternoon and storms should develop between 3-5pm this evening.

The entire northern half of Ohio is now under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather this evening. Very large hail up to baseball size, damaging straight line winds up to 80mph, and tornadoes are all a possibility tonight. Timing between 5-8pm is still expected. Stay safe and be weather aware!

The Enhanced Risk for severe weather has been expanded and is now technically just south of Ottawa County. However, do not let that put your guard down this evening as I am very concerned about several supercell thunderstorms in the area capable of producing baseball size hail, damaging straight line winds, and even the possibility of some tornadoes across NW Ohio. The threat will begin between 5-8pm this evening and training storms may also pose a flash flooding threat. Please take things seriously today and have a way to get warnings. We will provide updates throughout the day.

Severe weather returns tomorrow evening with a all hazards threat. My biggest concern is for very large hail possibly up to baseball size and even tornadoes. We will keep you updated as this threat moves closer.
