Charleston, WV (WOAY) – Community advocates led by the ACLU of West Virginia have filed a lawsuit in Kanawha County Circuit Court regarding the deployment of West Virginia National Guard troops to Washington, D.C.

The move follows Governor Patrick Morrisey’s announcement of plans to send up to 400 Guard members in support of a federal law backed by President Trump.

Fayette County, WV (WOAY)-Four people have been arrested following a routine traffic stop in Fayette County, three of whom now face multiple felony charges.
