DID YOU KNOW that wind-powered sunshades are now allowed on the Ocean Isle Beach strand on a “trial basis”?

An example of a wind-powered sun shade would be a “Shibumi Shade” or a “Solbello Shade”.

There are certain parameters that must be met like the wind-powered sun shade is only allowed within 25 feet of the dune line, can be no larger than 160 square feet and must be attached to one continuous pole that connects to the ground in no more than two locations.

Joey O’s Pizzeria is opening next month in the Ocean Isle Beach area.

The Pizzeria will be located in the shopping plaza where Family Dollar and Sarah’s Kitchen are now located.

Anticipated opening date April 10, 2021
